ARTISAN STATEMENT: I’ve been a serial crafter most of my life, but jewelry making and sewing are two pursuits that have stuck. I make hand crafted items that reflect the aesthetic of simplicity and subtlety I came to appreciate while living in Japan blended with Western innovation and experimentation. Discovering FabMo has given me an added boost. The wide variety of materials, colors, and prints at FabMo would inspire anyone. Then, there is often the added challenge of fixed sizes. This adds another dimension to the creative process.

CONNECTION TO FABMO: Volunteering at FabMo on sale days, talking to patrons about their projects, and, perhaps, helping them find just the right material provides even more inspiration. And I enjoy the treasure hunt.
