ARTISAN STATEMENT: At Elicit Crafts, Sandi and Jessica enjoy making one-of-a-kind custom pieces of visual and functional art. Being creative elicits joy for us, and knowing our crafts will be enjoyed in people's homes and shared as gifts, brings us so much happiness. We incorporate reclaimed materials that include wood, metal, wiring, leather, cloth materials and more, to create functional and decorative items such as purses, clutches, wallets, totes, jewelry holders, wine barrel key hooks, bookmarks, key chains, tree of life and horseshoe wire art, wood with wire/string art, seashell chimes and more! I learned about FabMo over a year ago while at a sewing machine store and nearly lost my mind during my first several shopping appointments. My first trip I was told I might have spent more than anyone had that month. LOL! I couldn't believe the selections and the prices.

Until I found FabMo, my crafts were very simple and low-end. Access to such amazing fabrics, leathers and notions at affordable prices has let me really develop as a crafter and create significantly better items. The variety keeps me coming back because I always find an amazing deal on something that ignites my creativity. I get to buy things that speak to me without worrying about the cost, keeping the prices down for those items I sell. Shopping at FabMo makes me happy because it gives my creative side so much to work with. If my apartment was bigger, I would buy more. LOL! These days nearly all of my sewn items contain at least 90% of Fabmo materials. The sewing platform in my studio apartment is made of wood from FabMo, and smaller wood pieces make the backdrop of wire art pieces. Finding small sized leathers and fabrics has really encouraged me to find creative uses for them, which is what reclaiming materials is all about! I LOVE that I can say without a doubt that our items are one-of-a-kind partly because of finding FabMo.
