My Doll's Closet - Fun Contest for All

Do you want to channel your inner Coco Channel, Donna Karan or Vera Wang without cutting into a large piece of expensive fabric?

Our contest is your chance: FabMo and Giada Conte, artist, creator of Flora Makes Me Smile and FabMo volunteer, are teaming up to bring you this fun-for-all challenge called “My Doll’s Closet”.

Meet Flora and Viola

Flora has been bringing much needed smiles to our faces during these trying times and now she has made a doll, Viola, for herself. Viola is in dire need of clothing, her closet is empty. That’s where you come in:

Help us fill Viola’s closet by designing an outfit (or two, possibly more ) for her!

Use you scraps, remnants and little bits of fabric, trim, beads and whatever other materials you have to make Viola the most stylish girl in town!

No actual sewing is required, so everybody can be a designer.

Here is how to participate:

Here are the rules in short:

Before you break out the fabric and scissors please keep in mind that Viola loves second hand, reuse and recycling.

Please do not buy new materials for your designs. Use what you have, even tiny scraps can make a wonderfully creative outfit.

Here is an example of an outfit for Viola. She looks quite business chic in this, but she also has a wild, eccentric, creative side - so go wild!

One more thing: please put your name and which category you are entering on your design!

One very last thing: here are the official contest rules by participating in the contest you agree to abide by these rules.
