ARTISAN NAME: Missy Robinson

CREATIONS: Coasters, Potholders, Placemats, Sachets, Dryer Balls, Beeswax Wrap

ARTISAN STATEMENT: I have an artful collection of upcycled and repurposed materials. All of the items I will be selling are almost 100% FabMo materials. The occasional bead, string and glue are the exceptions. There is quite enough manufactured material out there to reuse. Reuse, reduce, recycle is my mantra. I enjoy being able to make potholders from fabrics that would otherwise be price prohibitive. These exceptional fabrics make great gifts for any home. I enjoy re-crafting with fabrics, wallpaper, thread, raffia, yarn and ribbon into sachets, potholders, coasters, placemats, dryer balls and beeswax wrap.

CONNECTION TO FABMO: I have been coming to FabMo for probably 10 years now at least. I have been a FabMo vendor on repeat. I know Kathy Bonte quite well, from our Art Docent days in the school district. I love coming in every couple of weeks, to see what new materials I can find which inspires new products to create. I love making so much I am forced to sell so I can create more. My most inspiring find was wool roving, which created my dryer ball project. This has been a learning process for me. That is the most fun part. I have an Etsy store. This was necessary to distribute my inventory.
